The Chins is a 15-minute short play written based on interview transcripts from the Chinese Laundries in Massachusetts Oral History Project. (Institute for Asian American Studies, 2019) About 50% of the script are direct quotations from the interview transcripts, some were alternated for a fluent conversation. These stories were based on the interviewee's experience as Chinese Americans from the 1920s to the 1950s.
